IRONMAN
Tony Stark in a cave created iron Man when he was captured after hitting a roadside bomb on a tour to sell weapons. He is a rich, genius playboy with no powers so his electromechanically suit of amour allows him to fight for what he believes is right. When Tony is first introduced he is a weapons dealer but after seeing that what he creates is ending up with the enemy, he builds his first suit to escape his captures all while destroying the weapons he once made. After escaping he refines his suit to what we see in the movie each powered by a stark reactor in his chest. Using this he is able to protect the little people. Although he doesn’t work in teams normally he sees that he sometimes must.
CAPTAIN AMERICA
Captain America's name is Steve Rogers. Now a veteran of world war II, Rogers is the most patriotic man who believes that good will always defeat evil. Once a very small man Rogers wanted to fight to help his country but he was seen as unfit to serve but eventually with the help of a “super soldier serum” he was able to grow, bulk and become super strong and fast. Using an unbreakable shield to guide his way he ran through the battlefield fighting for what’s right. Being a selfless man Rogers crashed a plane into ice to save others and was frozen there until modern times leaving everyone he cared for in the past.
THOR
Thor is the prince of Asgard under his Father and he wields a weapon that only the worthy can lift, Mjolnir. Thor is able to control lightning and he sees himself as the protector over earth. He is the brother to Loki who he soon finds out wants to control the earth by bringing aliens to destroy everything, Thor the great protector who is seen as “basically a god” must work with the other hero’s to defend it.
HULK
The Hulk is the alter ego of Dr. Bruce Banner, a genius scientist who became exposed to an un-normal amount of gamma radiation. This accident changed his body and it makes him un-kill able for human weapons. This is because as Banner gets mad his body and mind change into a giant green monster that is very strong, has skin like metal and has barely any control. The madder he gets the stronger he becomes. His role in the avengers is more tam as Banner learns how to control turning into the monster by being “always angry”.
QUICKSILVER
Quicksilver is one of two modified twins changed by hydra after their parents were killed in a bombing. They volunteered for the program because they were seeking revenge on Stark since he made the bombs. When the program was complete Quick Silver was able to run at super speeds and he used this to play with his enemies knocking them over and using their weapons against them. At first he stood along side his sister and Ultron as he was the best way to take revenge on The Avengers but later he used his power for good when he seen what Ultron’s true plan was.
NICK FURY
Nick Fury is the director of S.H.I.E.L.D and is the leader of the Avengers initiative; something he thinks the world needs incase there was every any threat such as Loki that came to earth. He is a wise man and he knows many secrets. Even when the going gets tough he is one to push through and believe that the power of The Avengers is stronger then most. First seen in the stand-alone movies of the characters trying to start the team, he is able to use his vast experiences to persuade the heroes into working together. He is the man with all the answers.
HAWKEYE
Hawkeye, also Known as Clint Barton, is a family man who lives on a farm with his wife, who is expecting, and his two other kids. He is the man who never misses. Armed with a bow and arrows with different heads for different uses, Clint heads into battle as a support character. Taking a larger role in the second movie Hawkeye is able to teach others of their own power to choose an out come. He is first seen in The avengers where he is put under control by Loki, when free of the trance he is not long bouncing back to do his part to stop him. He also seems to be one of the driving powers of Romanoff as they are very good friends.
BLACKWIDOW
Black Widow also known as Natasha Romanoff is a highly trained undercover spy and agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. Once trained as an assassin she has a very dark past and it is mostly revealed in Age of Ultron when flash backs to her training academy were shown. Revealing what she had to do and face in her life to be where she is. First shown in IronMan, she is a character that is very professional at what she does and she holds the team together keeping everyone calm and never choosing a side;she is the neutral point. She is very close with Bruce Banner and she is his controlling force when he needs to calm down as the Hulk.
SCARLET WITCH
Scarlet Witch is the second of the two twins that were modified by hydra. After the modifications she was able to alter reality in specific ways. With this ability she was able to take control of peoples minds ,put visions in their heads, see what they were thinking and also use the powers to control her surrounding. When she read Ultron’s mind she was able to see that his true plan was for world domination and she also switched sides with her brother. This choice allowed them to put aside their hatred for Stark and fight for the lives of thousands instead of their own.
LOKI
Loki the brother of Thor is an evil Demigod that has interactions with the worlds most dangerous villain Thanos. He is given the ability and the army to enslave the earth and take control using an infinity stone. Although Loki wishes to take control of the earth his man focus is his brother. Since Loki is only Thor’s adopted brother Loki seeks to take revenge on him as throughout his whole life Thor was treated more fairly and the thorn of Asgard was being given to him. With this revenge in mind Loki had no mercy for anything in his path and as he came to earth expected everyone to kneel and tried to bring earth to it’s knees.
ULTRON
Ultron is the villain in “Age of Ultron”. He is a created being made by both Bruce Banner and Tony Stark in an effort to create total world peace using artificial intelligence. On the quest to achieve world peace Ultron loses focus of what true peace is and he thinks that the only way to achieve peace in “my time” is to wipe out the Avengers and most of the planet. He plans a mass genocide by dropping a city and using his created body to take control. Since his is technical and not an actual being he is able to pass from one created robot to another through the web until he is cut out completely.
